If you have bought Wyldewood soaps before, then you know we recommend keeping your soap dry in between uses. Allowing your bars of soap to sit in water or remain wet between uses makes the bar melt away much quicker. For the longest life possible, we suggest using dishes that allow water to drain away from your soap. We absolutely love these hand crafted Spanish cedar dishes. These soap dishes are hand made in Portland, Oregon and are a slim design that pairs well with our bar soaps. Each dish measures 3″ x 4″ x 3/8″ and comes to you ready to use.
Aromatic Spanish cedar is a beautiful red color, and smells great! The natural oils in the wood make this cedar naturally water resistant and a perfect wood for a soap dish.

A soap dish significantly extends the life of a bar of soap. Did you know that you can also extend the life of your soap dish? Using your soap dishes in pairs can help extend the life of the dish. Use one dish for 2-3 weeks, and then switch it out with the second dish. This allows the first dish to completely dry out while you are using the second dish for 2-3 weeks. Regularly switching between dishes will prevent mold and mildew from developing and growing on your dish and greatly extend the life of the dish.
